Durene Jones Freebies

Durene Jones has a lot of freebies on her facebook page. Just search for her there and you will find nearly two years worth of freebies (2015 & 2016). They are well worth joining facebook for :-)

Over the last year and a half, Durene has had a lovely series of flowers going. I chose to stitch the Daisies from this year, as I like daisies, as does my mother (for whom I stitched these).

Stained Glass Ship Freebie

I had planned on posting this on Bastille Day, to commemorate France's special day, but then the Bastille Day Massacre happened, so I decided to hold off a few days before I posted this lovely design, with its iconic Eiffel Tower. I feel for the people of France, and I hope they never again have to endure what they've been through :-(
